Summer Racing is Here!

RaceRaiser filled up on loads of yellow and red watermelon this past week. We were one of the lucky ones who were invited to attend the Summer Solstice Run in El Dorado Run, also known as the Watermelon Run. First time that we at RaceRaiser had yellow watermelon--interesting, to say the least!

Event Location: El Dorado Park, Los Alamitos, CA.

Races: 5mile run, 3K walk and Youth 1K Fun Run.

Objective: Run through the beautiful and mainly shaded El Dorado Park. Get handed a watermelon to take home, lots of goodies from vendors, and listen to fun music over the loudspeakers.
The Summer Solstice Watermelon Run was a great opening to what will sure be a wonderful summer!

Running teams, parents, kids and the everyday runner all came out, ready to have a good time. And they came away with more than that! From giveaways and goodie bags, to volunteers passing out water, fruit, and toys for the kids, every man seemed to be sporting a full on grin from ear-to-ear.

Try-Us Events coordinated every step of this race, http://www.tryusevents.com/, with sincerity, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Did you know this is one of the oldest races in all of Long Beach?

An immediate must do is to check out the pics we took: www.facebook.com/RaceRaiser. Click on the photo album marked Watermelon Run.

We encourage you all to check out the other races that Try-Us Events coordinates. The Winter Solstice Run is one of our favorites too.
HAPPY SUMMER to All!
