We come across many inspiring stories, and this one is no exception. Yes, this race and raise got the girl's in the RaceRaiser office teary-eyed, and the men whooping for the monumental finish and successful fundraiser. Here's the short story: One of our RaceRaiser's, Eric, finished his first Half Ironman! He exceeded his goal of $1,500, and raced for a cause so dear to him and close to his heart: the Dwarf Athletic Association of America.
The 27th of March was a very long day for this RaceRaiser, and after 8 + hours of racing he made it to the finish line with his wife and kids cheering him on. The part that got the waterworks from the girl's in the office: one of Eric's children who is height challenged had an Ironman tattoo in honor of his daddy.
